Larry Gene Schroeder, 78, of Laguna Vista, passed away suddenly on Friday, May 12, 2023. He was born in Omaha NE, grew up in Branson, MO and currently resided in Laguna Vista, TX with the love of his life, Maryann. He retired in 2000 from CNA Financial Corp. as V. P. of the Security and Fraud Division. He was a true-blue fan of the University of Missouri Tigers football and basketball teams and never missed a game. He was an avid boater and RV’er. He and Maryann had many adventures by land and by sea for 38 years. He was preceded in death by his father, Carlisle Schroeder and his mother, Mable Schroeder. He is survived by his wife, Maryann Schroeder, née Wildman, his sister Cheryl Daniels, brother-in-law Danny Daniels, nephews Chris (Lisa) Daniels, and Dusty (Carrie) Daniels.
