Alicia M. Treviño, 68, of San Benito, Texas, passed away on October 3, 2012 in Harlingen, Texas. A beloved mother, she was an independent woman who fought a very long illness. She was employee at Valley Baptist Medical Center in the food service department. She was preceded in death by her husband Roberto G. Treviño and daughter Maria Idalia Treviño. Mrs. Treviño is survived by her children: Roberto Treviño Jr., Belinda Castillo, and Raul Ipiña; father, Juan Machuca; siblings: Esther Muñoz, Alfredo Machuca, Patricia Lopez, Jorge Machuca, Guadalupe Rodriguez, and Juan Machuca Jr.; 16 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on October 4, 2012 from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm, with a holy rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm, at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas. Mass of Resurrection will be held at 10:00 am on October 5, 2012 at St. Benedict Catholic Church in San Benito, Texas. Committal service will follow at San Benito City Cemetery.
