Maria Isabel “Chavelita” Meza, 88, of San Pedro, TX, entered the kingdom of Heaven on April 5, 2023, surrounded in the love and presence of her immediate family. Mrs. Meza was a loving spouse, mother, and grandmother. She was a hard-working woman and a devoted catholic. Chavelita was a warrior and a member of Las Guadalupanas. She will be dearly missed and loved forever. She is proceeded in death by her two sons Jesus Meza Jr. and Jose Abel Meza Left to cherish her memory and love is her husband Jesus Meza, son Felipe Meza, five daughters: Maricela Rodriguez, Nora (Martin) Martinez, Sonia (Guadalupe) Guajardo, Rosario Meza, and San Juanita (Ricardo) Solis. Numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. Memorial Service at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas.
