Elvira Lugo, 79, of Rio Hondo/Los Fresnos, passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2023 in San Antonio, TX surrounded by her loving family.
She is survived by her children, Nelda Sanchez, Jimmy Lugo, Willie Lugo, Velma Lugo, and Alma Lugo; siblings, Antonio Garcia, Gloria Chairez, Juan Garcia, Esther Villarreal, Eloy Garcia, Elsa Garcia, and Dominga Clough; 19 grandchildren; 38 great grandchildren; and 7 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Friday, January 13, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas.
A Chapel Service will be held Saturday, January 14, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home and interment will follow to San Benito Memorial Park.
Serving as pallbearers are Juan Ortega, Pablo Sanchez, Federico Sanchez, Rocki Lugo, Andres Ortega, Jr., John Robinson, and Juan Angel Ortega.
