Herlinda Trevino, 80, of San Benito, went to be with our Lord on Friday, December 30, 2022, at Harlingen Medical Center. She is preceded in death by her parents, Encarnacion and Irene Pena; her loving husband, Israel Trevino; a baby girl, Maricela Trevino; her siblings, Jose Pena, Encarnacion Pena Jr., and Maria P. Barrientos. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Jose Israel Trevino, Jose Guadalupe (Sonia) Trevino, and Abel (Georgina) Trevino, along with her siblings, Guadalupe Pena, Faustino Pena, Juan Pena, and Celia Pena. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Jose Guadalupe Trevino Jr., Adrian Trevino, Lizette Trevino, Jacqueline Trevino, Abel Trevino Jr., Johnny Jesse Trevino, Robert Ray Trevino, Amanda Marie Trevino, Angelica Marie Trevino, Andrea Trevino. Also surviving are her great grandchildren, Sofia Trevino, Dariana Trevino, Adrian and Adriel Trevino, and Evelyn Trevino. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 6, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a recitation of the Holy Rosary to be held at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, TX. A Funeral Mass is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 7, 2023, at St. Benedict Catholic Church, 351 S Bowie St, San Benito, TX with burial to follow to Mont Meta Memorial Park.
