Reginald Van Nurden, 79, of Rio Hondo, Texas, passed away on September 20, 2012 at his home in Rio Hondo.
He was a devoted parishioner of St. Helen's Catholic Church in Rio Hondo.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Lis Van Nurden; and parents, Vincent and Dorothy Van Nurden.
He is survived by his son, Carlos and wife Dee Van Nurden; and grandchildren: Cassandra, Alexandra, and Gabrielle Van Nurden.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at 10:00 am at Rio Hondo City Cemetery with military honors to be conducted by Commander Leal American Legion Post 43 of Brownsville.
