Juanita G. Conde, 85, of San Benito, passed away on Monday July 25, 2022, in Brownsville, Texas. Juanita was s loving daughter, mother and a great grandmother. She was a hardworking woman who always helped her family. She enjoyed family time, cooking, gardening, and in her leisure time, listening to music and dancing. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 42 years, Jose Conde, her parents, Seferino Garcia and Clemencia Mares Garcia; her four brothers, Santos Garcia, Uvence Garcia, Jose Guadalupe Garcia, and Pedro Garcia; her two sisters, Lupita Garcia and Maria Del Jesus Garcia; and her great granddaughter, Jade Viola Ray. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Janie Garcia; her three grandchildren, Jenica Elese Koon of New York City, Reginald Xavier (Gabriela) Koon of Edinburg, and Jayden Gonzalez of San Benito; her great granddaughter, Zuri Yael Koon; many cousins, nephews and nieces. The family would like to thank Dr. Ann Kanaan of San Benito Medical Associates, Retama Manor of Harlingen, Brownsville Nursing and Rehab Center and all their staff, and Gracia Hospice for the care provided to Juanita G Conde. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 01, 2022, from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, TX. A Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, August 02, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at St. Benedict Catholic Church, 351 S Bowie St, San Benito, TX with interment to follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park.
