Christina Jaramillo Betancourt, 55, from Donna/Los Fresnos, Texas was called to be with our Lord on Thursday, March 31, 2022. Born on June 6, 1966, in Los Fresnos, Texas, Christina was a devoted mother to her children whom she loved with all her heart and a caring person to whomever she welcomed into her home. She is and will forever be loved and missed by all who knew her. She is preceded in death by her husband, Marcos Betancourt, Sr., her mother, Joaquina Montes Jaramillo, her sister and brother, Aurelia Jaramillo, and Abel Jaramillo. She is survived by her loving children: Abel M. Betancourt, Christina A. (Rene) Alejandro, Juanita V. Betancourt, Andreita A. Betancourt, Andres D. (Miranda) Betancourt, Joaquin M. Betancourt and her granddaughter, Adeline M. Betancourt, who she loved immensely. Christina is also survived by her brother and sister, Isabel M. Jaramillo, Jr., and Juanita (Ruben) Jaramillo-Jimenez. Visitation will begin on Tuesday, April 5, 2022, from 4:00 pm – 9:00 pm with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, TX. Visitation will resume on Wednesday, April 6, 2022, from 8:30 am – 2:00 pm. A chapel service will be held at 2:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home with burial to follow to Las Yescas Cemetery.
