Rufino Muñoz Jr., 72, passed away on February 2, 2022 at home with his loving family by his side in Los Fresnos. he was born on April 17, 1949 in Los Fresnos to Rufino and Eloisa Munoz. He was preceded in death by his siblings Benita Muñoz, Felix Muñoz, Virgino Muñoz, Jose Muñoz and most recent; his sister Viviana Munoz. Left to cherish his memories is his daughter like niece Maria Louisa Santos(Francisco); three grandlike children: Brenda Santos, Anel Santos and Francisco Santos as well as his siblings Guadalupe Colchado (Santiago) and Beninio Munoz (Celia). Visitation will be held Monday, February 7, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, TX. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Cecilia's Catholic Church 606 W Ocean Blvd, Los Fresnos, TX with interment to follow at Los Cuates Cemetery in Los Fresnos. All individuals are encouraged to follow CDC guidelines by socially distancing a minimum space of 6 feet apart and face covers or masks are recommended.
