Reynaldo Chavez, Sr. 64, of San Benito, Texas passed away on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at his residence. Reynaldo Chavez, Sr. was born on February 5, 1957 in San Benito, TX to Pablo and Elisa Chavez. He was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, son, sibling, uncle, cousin and friend who will truly be missed by all. He is preceded in death by his Father; Pablo Garza Chavez, Mother; Elisa Longoria Chavez, and Niece; Elisa Trevino. Left to cherish his memories are his Son; Reynaldo Chavez, Jr. (Rebecca), Son; Michael Chavez (Erin), Daughter; and Amanda Chavez, Siblings: Pablo Chavez Jr, Emma Garcia (Rosendo), Dora Trevino (Juan), Noemi Contreras (late Mario Sr), Elisa De La Rosa (Javier), Lupe Chavez, David Chavez, Norma Chavez, Grandchildren: Isabella Chavez, Antonio Chavez, Tomas Chavez, Jonathan Chavez, Mariah Macias, Brooklynn Chavez, Cloey Chavez, Lexi Brown, Adrianna Ammons, Great Grandchildren: Inigo Housley and Elowyn Housely. Visitation will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 and a Chapel Service at 2:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, TX with interment to follow at San Benito Memorial Park.
