Jeanie Marie Eads, 40 years of age, passed peacefully on November 15, 2021, while surrounded by her loving family. During her short but rewarding life, Jeanie made lasting friendships, along the way. Her greatest contribution was the care that she provided her patients and their families as First, an EMT Paramedic, and lastly as an emergency room RN. During her off-duty time, Jeanie preferred spending time with loved ones, specifically her fiancé, Valerio Hernandez; mother, Sandra Ernst, brother; Jason Eads, and special friends, Sharla Dillman, and Bobbi Jo Rangel. She also loved the adventures she had with her father, Johnny Eads, as they traveled and attended many concerts together. Left to cherish Jeanie’s memory are her mother, Sandra Ernst of Harlingen, TX, her father Johnny Eads of Midland, TX, her brother Jason Eads and children of Harlingen, TX; sister Ashley Nunley & Family of Neaderlin, TX; Fiance Valerio Hernandez of Weslaco, TX, an uncle, many aunts, cousins and friends. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 22, 2021, from 5 pm to 9 pm at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, with honors being given by the RGV Nurses Honor Guard, and Paramedics. All individuals are encouraged to follow CDC guidelines by socially distancing a minimum space of 6 feet apart and must wear face covers or masks.
