Miguel Cordova Leon, 21, joined the Lord, on October 7, 2021. He lived most of his life in Port Isabel. He graduated from Port Isabel High School Class of 2018. After graduation he started his long dream of becoming an entrepreneur. Miguel was better known as “Miguelito” all his life by his family. Miguelito was a loving, caring, respectful, happy, funny, and most of all, hard working person. He always found a way to improve himself. He had just started providing pressure wash services in San Antonio with a friend. Miguel had just begun to get his certificate as a tower technician and was excited to start this new chapter of his life. Miguelito was always an attentive son, always checking in on his parents; even though he was living in San Antonio, that would never stop him from calling his mom two or three times a day. He would even come to visit even if it was just for 4 hours on his days off. His siblings always told him he was a true mam’s boy. He was a supportive brother and always enjoyed doing activities with his siblings; like playing Xbox, going on road trips, crafting, decorating, attending school functions and doing the sibling tradition of binge-watching movies on Christmas Day. Miguelito was such a bright person, always looking at everything the positive way, and with a smile on his face. He was a huge sports car fanatic and would always send random videos to his siblings of cool cars he would see. Miguel is preceded in death by his grand-parents, Bernardino Cordova Gonzales, Delfina Benavides Lopez, Lorenzo Leon Orta, Manuella Carillo Marin, and aunts, Maria Rosa Cordova Benavides, Martina Cordova Benavides. Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Miguel Cordova Benavides, and Antonia Cordova Leon, along with his siblings, Nataly Cordova Leon, Jocelyn Lizbeth Cordova and Brandon Cordova. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 26, 2021, at Thomae Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, from 5 pm to 9 pm, with a recitation of the Holy Rosary to be held at 7 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 27, 2021, at 11 am at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Port Isabel. Interment will follow to Los Cuates Cemetery in Los Fresnos. Miguel Cordova Leon, 21 anos de edad, se fue con el Señor el día 7 de Octubre del 2021. Vivió la mayor parte de su vida en Port Isabel, TX. Se graduo de la preparatoria de Port Isabel High School, y fue parte de la clase de 2018.. Después de su graduación empezó a perseguir su gran sueno de ser un empresario. Mifuel es mejor conocido como “Miguelito” por toda su familia. Miguelito fue una persona amorosa, bondadosa, respetuosa, y feliz pero mas que todo era sumamente trabajador. Siempre encontraba la forma de superarse. Acababa de emprender un negocio de servicio de lavado de presión con un amigo. Miguel también empezaba una capacitación de tecnico de torres y estaba muy emocionado poe este nuevo capitulo que emprendia en su vida. Miguelito siempre fue un hijo atento, siempre asegurando el bienestar de sus padres a pesar de vivir en San Antonio, TX. Eso no lo detenia para llamar a su mama de dos o tres veces al día. Incluso en sus días de descanso llegaba a visitar a su familia así fue solo 4 horas. Sus hermanos siempre le decían que era muy apegado a su mama. Era un hermano con el que siempre le podias contar. Disfrutaba mucho hacer actividades con sus hermanos como jugar Xbox, salir de viaje, hacer manualidades, decorar, asistir a funciones de la escuela, y hacer la tradición de hermanos deber películas todo el día en el día de la navidad. Miguelito era una persona brillante siempre viendo las cosas de manera positiva y con una sonrisa en su cara. Miguel es procedido por muerte por sus abuelos, Bernardido Cordova Gonzales, Delfina Benavides Lopez, Lorenzo Leon Orta, Manuela Carillo Marin, y sus tías, Maria Rosa Cordova Benavides, MARTINA Cordova Benavides. Deja a sus padres, Miguel Cordova Benavides, Antonia Cordova Leon, y sus hermanos, Nataly Cordova Leon, Jocelyn Lizbeth Cordova y Brandon Cordova. Las horas de visitacionseran el Martes, 26 de Octubre del 2021, de las 5 pm a las 9 pm el la funeraria Thomae Garza en San Benito, TX. El Santo rosario se efectuara a las 7 pm. La Misa de resurrección será a las 11 am el Miércoles, 27 de Octubre del 2021, en las Iglesia Católica Our Lady Star of the Sea, en Puerto Isabel, seguido por el entierro en Los Cuates Cemetery en Los Fresnos, TX. All individuals are encouraged to follow CDC guidelines by socially distancing a minimum space of 6 feet apart and must wear face covers or masks.
