Francisco Guzman passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Sunday evening August 22, 2021, at the age of 62.he was born to the late Cruz and Amparo Guzman on November 19, 1958 in San Benito, Texas. He was a lifetime resident of San Benito and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He enjoyed preparing plates, during Thanksgiving day, he would drive around town and offered them to people he would come upon. He was kind, generous, and a giving person with a great sense of humor and always willing to lend a helping hand. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Left to treasure his memories is his loving wife of 38 years Theresa Guzman, his sons; Francisco (Lori) Guzman Jr., Pablo (Alma) Guzman, Cruz A. (Madison) Guzman, Emanuel Guzman and Amado Guzman; three grandchildren: Edward, Liam and Leah Grace: siblings; Arturo Guzman, Carmen (Ralph) Garza, Yolanda (Eduardo) Cisneros, Margarita Guzman, Javier (Palmira) Guzman and Ana (Ismael) Villarreal as well as several nieces, nephews and other relatives. Honored to be serving as pallbearers will be Francisco Guzman Jr., Cruz A. Guzman, Emanuel Guzman, Amado M. Guzman, Angel Ramirez, Jose Cruz Villarreal, Eduardo Cisneros and Jose Hernandez. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas. A 2:00 p.m. funeral mass will be held on Thursday, August 26, 2021 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in San Benito, Texas with a burial to San Benito Memorial Park in San Benito, Texas.
