Guadalupe M. Garcia, 83, of San Benito, passed away on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at Harlingen Medical Center. He is preceded in death by his parents; Leonides and Elena M. Garcia: two sons: Martin Garcia and Leonides Garcia as well as one daughter Maria Elena Garcia. Guadalupe is survived by three children: Guadalupe (Juanita) Garcia Jr., Juanita (Alejos) Martinez and Carmen Garcia: fourteen grandchildren and twenty six great-grandchildren as well as two siblings: Ana Diaz and Jose Garcia. Honored to be serving as pallbearers will be Jonathan Trevino, Juan Trevino, Ernesto Trevino, Andres Garcia, Desmond Garza, Devon Garza, Rolando Vega Jr. and Jonathan Trevino III. Visitation will be held on Monday, May 24, 2021 at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas from 5:00 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held Tuesday May 25, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Cross Church in San Benito, Texas with interment to follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park.
