Carmen Martinez, 60, of Harlingen, Texas passed away on the evening of April 28, 2021, at Valley Baptist Medical Center of Harlingen, Texas. Carmen was born in San Benito, Texas and was an alumni of San Benito High School where she was also on the drill team. She is preceded in death by her father, Pedro Martinez and her mother, Josefina Martinez. She is lovingly survived by her sons, Noe Aguirre, Jr. and Joseph Lopez; daughter, Brianna Trevino; her grandchildren, Emily Aguirre, Lauren Aguirre, Sophia Aguirre and Layla Aguirre; sister, Nena Martinez. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 6, 2021, from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a memorial service at 7:00 p.m., with cremation to follow at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas.
