Frank Galvan, 72, of Port Isabel, Texas, entered into eternal rest on March 22, 2021, at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Brownsville. Mr. Galvan was born and raised in Port Isabel, Texas, he was raised by his uncle and aunt Antonio and Esperanza Galvan. Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Rosalio and Francisca Garza Galvan; a brother, Rosalio “Russell” Galvan, Jr. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Cristina M. Galvan; daughter, Mary Ann (Noe) Guillen; son, Frankie (Lupita) Galvan; granddaughter, Faith Francine (Gualberto Huerta) Galvan; great-grandson, Caleb Hunter Huerta; 2 brothers, William “Billy” Galvan and Gene Galvan; 2 sisters, Delia Galvan-Garza and Raquel Cantu; last but not least his canine companion Max. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a holy rosary at 7:00 p.m., at Thomae Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas. A chapel service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home, with a graveside service at 1:00 p.m., at the Rio Grande State Veteran’s Cemetery in Mission, Texas. Military honors will be conducted at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home by the American Legion Post 205, prior to departing to the Rio Grande Veteran’s Cemetery in Mission.
