Maria G. Enriquez age:63 Was called up to heaven on 18th of January 2021 in Namiquipa, Chihuahua, Mexico. She was born on the 10th of August,1957 in Valle Hermoso Tamaulipas, Mexico to Guadalupe and Sofia Cabrera. She later moved to Albuquerque, NM to finish her schooling where she met Mauro R. Enriquez and got married in El Paso on July 25,1977. They later called Los Fresnos, TX home, where they would raise their 4 children. Maria was an exceptional wife and loving mother. Many would consider her their second mother because of her caring nature. She had a way of making people feel comfortable around her. She would often have people open up to her as if she had been their long- time friend, even though they had just met her. She loved to talk! Many were drawn to her infectious attitude and love of life. She loved music and never hesitated to be the first to get up and dance. Maria traveled as often as she could and always took the scenic route. She enjoyed going on long drives with her husband with no end destination in mind. Being surrounded by the grandchildren was one of her greatest joys in life. Be at peace, mom. When tomorrow starts without you, we wont think of you so far. Enriquez is preceded in death by her parents Guadalupe and Sofia Cabrera. Maria G. Enriquez was survived by her husband Mauro R. Enriquez, her son Mauro Edgar Enriquez and wife Jennifer Enriquez and 3 daughters Jessica Enriquez, Lissett Enriquez and partner David Montelongo, and Isela Enriquez. Her siblings Alberto Cabrera, Guadalupe Jr. Cabrera, Alfonso Cabrera, and Graciela Cabrera. Her 8 grandchildren Daniel Xavier Garza, Jose Roman Garza, Sadie De la Rosa, Gabriella Enriquez, Mauro Alexander Enriquez, Jaden Itzel Rodriguez, Edgar Joaquin Enriquez and soon to arrive -Sofia Grace Enriquez. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m., until 9 p.m., Sunday, January 24, 2021, with the recitation of the holy rosary to be held at 7 p.m., at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, TX. Visitation will continue at 8:30 a.m., Monday, January 25, 2021, with funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. Followed by the burial at Los Cuates Cemetery in Los Fresnos TX.
