Michael Thomas Gray of Weslaco, Texas went to be with our Lord on Tuesday, December 29th, 2020. He was born August 10th, 1954 to Paul and Hazel Gray in Florence, Alabama. Michael graduated from Sheffield High School in 1972 and received his BA from the University of North Alabama. After graduation, Michael moved to Houston, Texas where he met his wife, best friend, and longtime partner, Olga Linda Gonzales. Mike and Olga Linda moved to Weslaco, TX. where they raised their daughters--Suzanne Marie and Michelle Lynn Gray. Mike was a beloved husband, an exceptional father, and a devoted Grandpa who always put his family first! He enjoyed cooking (Michael Burgers and steaks), harvesting peppers and valley lemons; also enjoyed listening to classic rock music, watching old movies ( Godzilla, John Wayne, & The Three Stooges)! Most of all, Mike loved college football! His favorite past time was watching Alabama Football games. He even enjoyed watching reruns and he became so excited as if he was watching them for the first time...ROLL TIDE!!! Mike was a man of few words; but if you were lucky to be chosen to be his friend/family, you knew that he'd protect and love you with his entire soul and heart for life. He will be deeply missed.
