Blanca I. Lopez, age 64, departed on December 25, 2020 surrounded by her loving family in Los Fresnos, Texas. She was born on August 20, 1956 to Pedro and Maria Sanchez. Blanca graduated from Los Fresnos High School in 1976. She served her community working for the Los Fresnos CISD for 39 years. Blanca is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Bonifacio and Sista Sanchez; maternal grandparents, Isauro and Monserato Zuniga; beloved father, Pedro Sanchez; and great-nephews, Nathaniel Vasquez, Jose Saldana, Gabriel Saldana, and Jesus Saldana. Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 41 years, Jesus F. Lopez; mother, Maria Sanchez; 2 children, Irene Lopez-Zilberman (Mark) and Rene (Laura) Lopez; 3 grandchildren, Matthew Rene Lopez, Alexander Jesse Zilberman, and Olivia Paige Lopez; and 5 siblings, Raul Sanchez, Dora Sanchez, Rogelio “Roger” (Oralia) Sanchez, Ruben (Karen) Sanchez, and Dalia (Frank) Hurtado. In addition, she is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Blanca was known to be a hard worker, kind, generous to a fault and extremely outgoing. She cared deeply for her family and was always the first to offer help. Her favorite passion was spending time with her family, but she also enjoyed reading, embroidery, and watching cooking shows. She will be forever missed. Due to current restrictions, this establishment will follow the 25% occupancy limit and all persons shall institute social distancing of a minimum space of 6 feet apart.
