Obituary of Mary Estella Guzman

Please share a memory of Mary to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Mary Estella Guzman 52, of Laguna Vista has peacefully been called home on October 4, 2020. We all knew Estella as a caring, loving and amazing wife and mother. She made sure everyone knew that she lived for her daughters and grandchildren. She loved being surrounded by all her family. She loved the holidays but more importantly never turned anyone away who needed help. Estella was the life of the party and was always up to the challenge whenever anyone dared her to do something. Before she got sick, she enjoyed going out with her “vieja” the way she would call her cousin. Estella will be greatly missed. “I’d like the memory of me to be a happy one.” “I’d like to leave an afterglow of smiles when the day is done.” “I’d like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days.” “I’d like the tears of those who grieve, to dry before the sun, of happy memories that I leave behind when they day is done.” Mary Estella is preceded in death by her husband Felix Guzman Jr: Parents Antonio Valdez and Hortencia Garza Valdez and Grandmother Guadalupe D. Garza. Mary Estella is survived by her loving daughters: Vanessa Marie Guzman (Hector Caballero), Tanya Sasha Guzman (Richard Renteria), Renida Renee Guzman (Deyanira Pena) and Evangelina Guzman (Armando Zamora Jr.).
