Reynaldo Sanson Alvarado Jr., 6, of Port Isabel, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at Valley Regional Medical Center in Brownsville, Texas. Reynaldo always had a smile on his face, always liked to dress up with a cowboy hat and boots, and always loved to give his mom flowers. He was preceded in death by his baby sister, Artlette Hailie Castillo; maternal grandmother Maria Guadalupe Zamora; paternal grandfather David Vasquez Alvarado Sr. Reynaldo is survived by his loving mother Larissa Nicole Zamora; father Reynaldo Alvarado Sr.; one brother, Amaziah Rayland Alvarado; two sisters: Evalette Nikole Sosa and Rayelette Cataleya Alvarado; maternal grandfather Jose Santos Zamora; and paternal grandmother Angelica Garza Alvarado. Due to current restrictions, this establishment will follow the 25% occupancy limit and all persons shall institute social distancing of a minimum space of 6 feet apart. All individuals must wear face coverings or masks. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 14, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a holy rosary at 7:00 p.m., at Thomae Garza Funeral Home. A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, 705 S. Longoria Street in Port Isabel, Texas. Interment will follow at Port Isabel City Cemetery.
