Guillermo Cruz, 65 of San Benito, Texas, passed away on Saturday, July 25, 2020, in Weslaco, Texas. Guillermo was born on June 25, 1955 in Pejamo, Guanajuato to Cirilo and Esther Cruz. He met Irma in Monterrey, NL. in 1975 and they were married shortly after. They made their home in Harlingen, Texas, Irma’s hometown, right before welcoming their three boys. He was a hardworking business owner, devoted husband, exceptional father, and loving grandfather. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and everyone who knew him. He is preceded in death by his father, Cirilo Cruz; mother, Esther Cruz Garcia; sisters, Lucia Cruz and Teresa Cruz; and brother, Jose Dolores Cruz. Guillermo is survived by his loving wife, Irma Cruz; sons, Guillermo (Suzie) Cruz Jr., Carmelo (Edica) Cruz, and Dyango (Ashley) Cruz; grandchildren, Catalina Cruz, Carmelo Cruz Jr., Christian Cruz, Coryn Cruz, Nathanial Cruz, Joseph Cruz, Michael Cruz, Evelyn Cruz, and Ethan Cruz; brothers, Jose Luis Cruz, Martin Cruz, Jose Guadalupe Cruz, Sergio Cruz; and sister, Eulalia Cruz.
