Miguel Ayala, 55 of San Benito, Texas, passed away on Saturday, February 29, 2020. He was born in San Benito and a 1983 San Benito High School graduate. Miguel and Rosamary Ramirez married in November 1983. He was a loving and strong father and husband. Miguel had been fighting cancer for eight years and was so full of life and always gave back to those in need. He is preceded in death by his parents, Francisco Ayala Sr. and Tomasa G. Ayala; and four brothers, Erasmo Ayala, Francisco Ayala, Guadalupe “Lupe” Ayala, and David Ayala. Miguel is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Rosamary R. Ayala; three children, Mary Ann Ayala, Miguel Ayala Jr., and Christina Ayala; siblings, Victor Ayala, Jose Manuel Ayala, Micaela Alvarez, Natividad Ayala, Senaida Rodriguez, and Petra Bejaran; and 13 grandchildren. A visitation will begin Thursday, March 5, 2020, from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and will continue Friday, March 6, 2020, from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas. A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 7, 2020, at St. Benedict Catholic Church with burial to follow at San Benito Memorial Park in San Benito, Texas.
