Pablo R. Leija Jr., 73 of San Benito, Texas, passed away on Monday, January 13, 2020, in Harlingen, Texas.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Pablo Leija Sr. and Juanita R. Leija; and brother, Santos Leija.
Pablo is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Gloria C. Leija; one daughter, Cynthia Ann Leija; three sons, Ross C. Leija, Johnny Leija, and Pablo Leija III; 14 grandchildren, one great grandson, Pablo Leija V; and three sisters, Rosa Rodriguez, Velma Nino, and Diana Rocha.
Visitation will begin Thursday, January 16, 2020, from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas.
A chapel service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 17, 2020, at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home. Cremation will follow in accordance with the his family’s wishes.
