Obituary of Virginia Sue Wrape Johnston

Virginia Sue (Ginny) Wrape Johnston passed away on Sunday, November 3, 2019 in Harlingen, TX at the age of 58.

She was born on January 17, 1961 in St. Louis, MO to George and Betty Wrape.  Ginny was the youngest of their 5 children and her parents preceded her in death.

Ginny grew up in Cape Girardeau, MO where she graduated from Notre Dame High School in 1979.  She moved to Texas in 1981 and eventually to Denver, CO and back to Texas.

She is survived by her siblings; Skip Wrape (Colette) of Cape Girardeau, MO; Mary Beth Denton (Steve) of Harlingen, TX; Trudy Brandt of Cape Girardeau, MO; and Kitty Lacy (Glenn) of Adamsville, TN.  Ginny is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, whom she cherished and spoiled!

We will always remember her for her kind and giving heart, and the laughter we all shared together!!

The family will receive friends at St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church, 1919 Ritter Dr., Cape Girardeau, MO, on Friday, November 8, 2019 at 4:30pm with a Memorial Mass to follow at 5:00pm.
