Obituary of Andrea Mares Valdes

Andrea Mares Valdes, 79 of La Feria, Texas, passed away on Friday, October 25, 2019 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born December 10, 1939 in Tres Norias Ranch in San Monica, Texas. Andrea was married to Luis I. Valdes in 1965 and they raised three sons, Luis, Lee, and LeRoy.

She is preceded in death by her father, Guadalupe Mares; and mother, Encarnacion Mares.

Andrea is survived by her children, Luis I. Valdes II, Lee Valdes (Debbie), and LeRoy Valdes (Connie); grandchildren, Taylor Avalos (Raymond), Lee I. Valdes II, Dakota Valdes, Miles Valdes, and Olivia Valdes; great grandchildren, Raymond, Victoria, Gracie, and Malachi Avalos; and brothers, Ricardo Mares and Rodolfo Mares.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Julio Savinon for all his care for their mother.

Cremation will take place in accordance to her wishes and no local services will be held.
