Obituary for Manuel M. Jacquez San Benito,TX- Manuel M. Jacquez, 86, entered the Kingdom of Heaven on Saturday, February 25, 2012 at his residence. He was born Novemeber 10, 1925 in Los Angeles, CA to the late Juan and Altagracia Martinez Jacquez. He was a loving father, brother, grandfather and great grandfather who will be dearly missed and loved by all. Being surrounded by family and friends brought him great joy. As a self-employed Master Plumber and owner of Jacquez Plumbing, he served the lower valley community for over 40 years. Manuel was an avid hunter and had a great passion for the outdoors. Manuel is preceded in death by his loving wife of many years Maria Ester B. Jacquez and his sister Esther Jacquez. Left to cherish his memory are his children; Juan Manuel (Mary) Jacquez, Gloria Valdovinos, Margaret (Royce +) Dunlap, Raymundo (Amy) Jacquez Sr., Adelina (David) Anderson , Antonio (Maricela) Jacquez, Elizabeth A. Reza, Ernest Edward (Erica) Jacquez, Lorraine (Gabriel) Jacquez-Garcia, Michael Paul (Veronica) Jacquez, Diane Valerie (Julio) Rada, James (Crystal) Jacquez and Christopher (Liana) Jacquez. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Also surviving Manuel is his elder sister Petra Lara of Oregon. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 28, 2012 from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM with a Holy Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM at Thomae Garza Funeral Home in San Benito. Mass of resurrection will be held on Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at 10:00 AM at St Benedicts Catholic Church with burial to follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito.
