Obituary of Juana C. Castilleja

Juana C. Castilleja, 77, of Los Fresnos, Texas, passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2019.

She is preceded in death by her son, Pedro Castilleja; as well as her parents, Victor and Antonia Reyes Carranza.

Juana is survived by her loving husband, Pedro Castilleja; six children: Martin Castilleja, Ana Castilleja, Juan (Chriselda) Castilleja, Victor (Erika) Castilleja, Laura Castilleja and Veronica (Juan) Hinojosa; four grandchildren: Juan Pedro Castilleja, Vicente A. Castilleja, Juaquin Hinojosa, and Oziel Hinojosa; as well as her brother, Eduardo Carranza.

Visitation will begin Tuesday, September 24, 2019, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Thomae Garza Funeral Home. Visitation will continue from at St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Los Fresnos, Texas from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a rosary at 5:30 p.m. and a memorial mass at 7:00 p.m. In accordance to her wishes, cremation will follow.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Martin Castilleja, Juan Castilleja, Victor Castilleja, and Francisco Passamentt; serving as honorary pallbearer will be her loving husband, Pedro Castilleja.
