Obituary of Pablo Pena Jr.

Pablo Pena Jr., 44, of Harlingen, Texas passed away on Tuesday, July 23, 2019. He was a lifetime resident of Harlingen and a graduate of Harlingen High School South. Pablo was an avid fisherman who loved to barbeque and enjoyed drag racing. He loved his entire family.

He is preceded in death by his father, Pablo Pena Sr.; brother, Juan David Pena; sister, Ida Gonzalez; son, Jesus Pena; and brother, Raymond Pena.

Pablo is survived by his wife, Joanna Taylor Pena; his mother, Oralia Pena; six sons, Pablo Pena III, Antonio Pena, Manuel R. Pena, Jonathan G. Pena, Sebastian Pena, and Joseph Pena; two sisters, Isabel Zepeda and Irene Pecina; grandmother, Dominga Reyes; grandfather, Felipe Reyes; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A memorial service will be on Monday July 29, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.  with a eulogy and stories about Pablo to begin at 7:00 p.m. and Mariachis to begin to play at 8:00 p.m. in honor of Pablo at Thomae Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas.

Honorary pallbearers are Daniel Garza, Aaron Pecina, Gerardo Chavez, Rick Acosta, Alex Zepeda, Elijah Parker, Baltazar Pena Jr., and Marco A. Arrambide.
