San Benito, Texas- Marcelino Garza, 69, entered into rest on Monday, February 13, 2012 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen, Texas.
He is preceded in death by his son, Marcelino Garza Jr.
He is survived by his wife, Juanita Sanchez Garza; and twelve children: Juan (Patricia) Garza, Arturo Garza, Luis (Diana) Garza, Anna (Enrique) Gonzalez, Matilde Garza, Steven (Marney) Garza, Agustin (Ofelia) Garza, Michael (Jennifer) Garza, Marcelino Jose Garza, Maria (Rodrigo) Salinas, Arturo (Cristal) Garza Jr., and Darlene (Enrique) Martinez. He is also survived by three brothers: Faustino, Victor, and Noe; three sisters: Janie, Inocencia, and Agustina; 22 grandchildren; and ten great- grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 15, 2012 from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm, with a prayer service at 7:00 pm, at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 16, 2012 at 2:00 pm at Templo Bethesda, 480 E. Expressway in San Benito, Texas. Interment will follow at San Benito City Cemetery.
