San Benito, Texas- Gabriela Gutierrez Perez, 62, entered into rest on Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents, Pedro and Maria Reyes Mendoza Gutierrez; three sisters: Maria Gutierrez Mendoza, Agustina Gutierrez Mendoza, and Ebodia Gutierrez Mendoza; and one brother, Felipe Gutierrez Mendoza. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Ramon Perez; her nine children: Janie (Ernesto) Perez, Sylvia (Tomas) Perez, Rosie (David) Perez, Ramon (Lisa) Perez Jr., Joel (Elsa) Perez, Belinda Perez, Felipe (Julissa) Perez, Veronica (Gilbert) Perez, and Leticia (Armando Jr.)Perez; 37 grandchildren; and three great-granddaughters. She is also survived by seven siblings: Eusebio Gutierrez Mendoza, Wenceslao Gutierrez Mendoza, Florencio Gutierrez Mendoza, Maria Gutierrez Mendoza, Emeteria Gutierrez Mendoza, Narciso Gutierrez Mendoza, and Paula Gutierrez Mendoza. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 20, 2012 from 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm, with a prayer service at 7:00 pm, at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2012 at 10:00 am at Templo Lirios Delos Valle, 305 Winchell St. in San Benito. Interment will follow at San Benito City Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are Jaime Alejo Jr., Justin Miranda, Jimmy Juarez, Ramon Perez III, Joel Perez Jr., Anthony Lemus, Ernesto R.
