Jesus Alfonso Leyva, 58, of San Benito, Texas, passed away on Thursday, August 16, 2018 at his residence in San Benito.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Luis H. Leyva.

Jesus is survived by his parents, Tomas and Bertha Leyva; siblings, Jose A. (Oralia) Leyva, Carmela (Eduardo) Melendres, Alma Rosa Leyva, Rogelio (Josefina) Leyva, Veronica Leyva, Tomas (Lucia) Leyva, and Oscar (Sandrivet) Leyva; along with nephews, nieces, and other relatives.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 17, 2018, from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas.

Chapel service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 18, 2018, at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito, Texas.

Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Tomas Leyva, Oscar Leyva, Rogelio Leyva, Juan de Dios Perez, Jesus Alfonso Cruz and Fernando Noriega.
