Obituary of Eulalia Cavazos

San Benito, Texas- Eulalia "Lala" T. Cavazos, 96, entered into Eternal Rest on Friday, December 30, 2011 at her residence. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ramon Cavazos; and her parents, Jose and Librada Guajardo Trevino. Lala is survived by her children: Ramiro (Eva) Cárdenas, Tina (Eduardo) Resendez, María Elena (Lorenzo) Rodríguez, Jose (Chita) Cavazos, San Juana (Ricardo) Rodríguez, and Arnold (Maricela) Cavazos. She is also survived by 26 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 2, 2012 from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm, with a holy rosary at 7:00 pm, at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito. Mass of Resurrection will be held on Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at 12:00 pm at St. Benedict Catholic Church in San Benito. Committal service will follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Heart of the Valley Hospice and ElderCare Home Health. Words of Comfort can be sent to the family of Eulalia "Lala" T.
