Aurora Espinoza Villarreal, age 87, lifetime resident of Port Isabel, Texas went with our Lord Jesus Savior on Christmas Day surrounded by her loving family at her daughter's residence in Laguna Vista, Texas. Born September 15, 1924 in Brownsville, Texas, Aurora was a member of Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Port Isabel, where she was a member of the Guadalupanas. In her years, she was active with the Band Booster and Quarterback Club for Port Isabel High School Beloved daughter of the late Francisco and Inez Espinoza and widow of Agapito Villarreal, Sr., she joins her husband and children, Gualberto, Lidia, Eduardo, and Agapito Villarreal, Jr., brother, Francisco Espinoza Jr, sister Teresa Villarreal, and grandson Fred Sepulveda in eternal rest. She is survived by her children, Ruben Villarreal and wife, Olga, Maria Inez Ochoa and husband, Joel, Cristina Card, Jose Vidal Villarreal and wife, Gracia, Flora Sepulveda and husband, Ernesto, Ernesto Villarreal and wife, Norma, Francisco Villarreal, and Suzanne Villarreal. She is also survived by 16 cherished grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and her sister-in-law, Guadalupe Espinoza. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 27, 2011 from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito. Visitation will continue from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm, with a holy rosary at 7:00 pm, at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church located at 705 S. Longoria St. in Port Isabel. Mass of Resurrection will be held on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at 10:00 am at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church. Committal service will follow at Port Isabel City Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are her grandchildren: Ernesto Villarreal Jr., Oscar Ochoa, Agapito Villarreal III, Gualberto Villarreal, Ernesto Sepulveda Jr, and Joseph Sepulveda.
