Obituary of Alfredo Ramos

San Benito, Texas- Alfredo L. Ramos, 74, veteran and welder, entered into Eternal Rest on Friday, December 2, 2011 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Ramos was born on March 26, 1937 in Los Indios, Texas. He is survived by his loving wife, Juana Ramos; and his nine children: Elizabeth, Margarita, Luis, Lupita, Reynaldo, Uvaldo, Alfredo Jr., Victoria and Irma. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and nine brothers. Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 4, 2011 from 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm, with a holy rosary at 7:00 pm, at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, TX. A chapel service will be held on Monday, December 5, 2011 at 10:00 am at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Las Rucias Cemetery in Los Indios, Texas. Military Honors will be conducted at graveside by the American Legion Post 43 John Hanson of Brownsville, Texas. Serving as pallbearers are: Uvaldo Ramos, Alfredo Ramos Jr., Luis Ramos, Reynaldo Ramos, Mario Guevara Jr., Luis Alfredo Guevara, Miguel Angel Sánchez, and Uriel Lucas.
