Victoria Y. Deimes,91, of Los Fresnos, Texas, was called home on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was a beloved mother who farmed most of her life and worked for 20 years at a nursery and then retiring from PUB later on. She will be deeply loved and missed. Victoria is preceded in death by her beloved husband Mateo; her parents, Pedro and Leonarda Garcia Yzaquirre; three brothers, Juan, Valentine and Antonio Yzaquirre and one sister Nachita Portugal. Left to cherish her memories are her children: Mateo Deimes, Alvino Deimes and Mary Harris as well as two sisters, Juanita Garza and Refugia Taylor, one brother Erineo Yzaquirre. Also surviving her seven grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 30, 2016 from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a holy rosary at 7:00 p.m., at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas. Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at St. Cecilia Catholic Church with burial to follow at Los Cuates Cemetery in Los Fresnos, Texas.
