Our beloved brother, uncle, and friend David Guevara, 59, of San Benito, departed this earthly life on Friday, July 8, 2016. David was born in San Benito, Texas on April 29, 1957 where he also attended schools. David touched the lives of many people in his humorous ways. He enjoyed listening to oldies and enjoyed telling tall tales. He will be greatly missed. In the words of the great Bob Marley and David, “Everything is going to be alright!” He was preceded in death by his parents, Guadalupe and Carmen; brother, Guadalupe Guevara Jr. and nephew, Job Matthew Reigoux. He is survived by his siblings: Baldemar Guevara of Germany, Gilbert, Baltazar and Maria Elena Guevara of Austin, Linda Villarreal of San Benito and numerous nephews and nieces. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 14, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home.
