Jesus Armando Martinez, 57, of Port Isabel, Texas, passed away Saturday, June 4, 2016 at Valley Regional Medical Center. He was preceded in death by his parents: Eustaquio and Maria Garcia Martinez; one sister, Oralia “Lala” Gallardo and one nephew, Eric Galvan. He is survived by his wife, Martha Martinez; five children: Flor Martinez, Jorge (Letty) Martinez, Jesus Armando (Jasmine) Martinez Jr., Jerry (Barbara) Martinez, Martha Iris (Juan Barajas) Martinez; five grandchildren: Matthew Martinez, Madison Martinez, Mischa Martinez, Sebastian Vela, Nicholas Vela; two sisters: Sylvia (Lorenzo) Galvan, Maricela (Juan) Gonzalez; four brothers: Rene (Diana) Martinez, Roberto Martinez, Arnoldo (Debbie) Martinez and Jesus Garcia. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m., at Thomae Garza Funeral Home. Chapel service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at Thomae Garza Funeral Home and burial will follow at Port Isabel City Cemetery.
