Maria Magdalena Garcia, 76, of San Benito, Texas, passed away on Monday, May 16, 2016 in Harlingen, Texas.
Mrs. Garcia is survived by her loving husband, Jose Cruz Garcia Sr.; children: Guillermina Navarro, Jose Garcia Jr., Heriberto Garcia, Maria Lucio, Esperanza de Hoyos, Armando Garcia Sr., Juan Garcia Sr., Javier Garcia, Luis Garcia Sr., Maria Garcia and Melissa King; 27 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Ismael Villarreal.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Jose Gutierrez and Maria Salinas.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 19, 2016 from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m., with a holy rosary at 7 p.m., at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home.
Funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 20, 2016 at St. Benedict’s Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Heavenly Grace Cemetery in La Feria Texas.
