Zoila I. Vasquez, 75, of San Benito, Texas, entered into rest on Saturday, April 23, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband, Genaro O Vasquez; one daughter, Maribel Vasquez; and four siblings. She is survived by her seven children: Ricardo (JoAnn) Vasquez, Martina Vasquez, Fernando (Ofelia) Vasquez, Marco Antonio (Delia) Vasquez, Jesus Vasquez, Genaro (Rachel) Vasquez, Jr., and Maritza V. (Roberto Jr.) Rivera; siblings: Teodora, Lidia, and Esther; 20 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a holy rosary at 7:00 p.m., at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home. Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 St. Helen’ s Catholic Church in Rio Hondo. Interment will follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park. A special thanks to Bee First Hospice Nurses and Staff: Mariela, Jose, Janie, and Chaplain Elvira for their care and attention.
