La Feria, Texas –Catherine "Cathy" Poor, 77, born in North Dakota on August 05, 1938, passed away on April 5, 2016, at her home in La Feria, Texas.
She taught Jr. High Math in La Feria, Texas and in Bishop, Texas and retired from teaching.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marion L. Poor; and a son, Darryl F. Poor.
She is survived by one daughter, two sons, five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and three sisters.
As Catherine wished, she will be cremated and no funeral services will be held.
