Manuela L. “Nele” Roux, 68 of Port Isabel, Texas passed away on March 30, 2016 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Brownsville, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jose B. and Paula Reyes Lopez; and one brother, Felipe “Mickey” Lopez. She is survived by her daughter, Araceli (Roman) Hernandez; two sons, Johan (Nancy) Roux, Jr. and Roel (Marvelia) Roux; one grandson, Joshua Johan Roux; and her beloved dog, “Guero”. Also surviving her are three brothers: Jose Lopez, Jr., Reynaldo Lopez, and Noe Lopez. Visitation will be held Friday, April 01, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a prayer services to held at 7:00 p.m., at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas. Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at Lighthouse Assembly of God Church in Port Isabel. Interment will follow to Port Isabel City Cemetery.
