Juanita June Wilds, of Rio Hondo, Texas, passed away peacefully on February, 2, 2016 at the age of 94. She was born in Sand Springs, Oklahoma on February 24, 1921. She married Floyd Eugene Wilds on April 28, 1940. They were married 72 years. Juanita was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She was preceded in death by her husband Gene; her parents, John and Ruth Canville; her two sons, Charles and David Wilds; her brother, Vernon Canville; her sisters: Geraldine Mcrae and Jenny Mize; and her granddaughter, Shari Heiden. Juanita is survived by her grandchildren: Ron Wilds of Arkansas, Jennifer Wendland of Dinero, and Traci Dealejandro of Corpus Christi; her brother, Johnny (Ruth Ann) Canville of Rio Hondo; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Viewing will be held on Friday, February 5, 2016 from 12:00 noon to 12:45 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas. A graveside service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Mont Meta Memorial Park.
