Sylvia Torres, 55, of San Benito, passed away Sunday, January 24, 2016 in Harlingen, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her brother, Martin Sanchez.
Sylvia is survived by her children: Gustavo (Jennifer) Sanchez, Sara (Angel) Torres; seven grandchildren; siblings: Alicia Garcia, Janie Almaraz, Annita Vasquez, Guadalupe Garcia, Otilia Guerra, Isidro Sanchez and Antonio Sanchez.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 27, 2016 from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae Garza Funeral Home.
Funeral mass will be held 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 28, 2016 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with cremation to follow accordance to her wishes.
