Estefana Medrano, 101, of Los Indios, Texas, passed away on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at her residence. She was preceded in death by her son, Jose Medrano, Jr. and two daughters, Maria Trevino and Lydia Vasquez. She is survived by her three sons: Roy Medrano, Jesus (Dora) Medrano, and Ruben (Tavita) Guajardo; two daughters, Oralia (Rodolfo) Perez and Juanita (Abel) Hinojosa. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and great-great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 10, 2015 from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m., at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas. A chapel service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 11, 2015 at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Las Rucias Cemetery in Los Indios, Texas.
