Thomas William Kuhn, 68 of Laguna Vista, Texas passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 26, 2015 at his residence. Thomas was born in Upland, California on November 10, 1947. He grew up in Pleasant Hill, California and graduated from College Park High School in 1965. He graduated from La Verne University in 1969, received his teaching credentials, and started teaching in San Bernardino, California in 1970. Thomas then moved to Texas in the early 1990’s. In 1996, he continued teaching until retiring from San Benito High School in 2014. He will be dearly missed. He was preceded in death by: his father, Jacob William Kuhn, his mother, Jean Kuhn, and his son, Rey David Cuervo. Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Rosalba Kuhn; his children: Ann Aldrich, Valentina Barrientez, and Karla Cuervo; two brothers. James Kuhn and Robert Kuhn; and five grandchildren: Erik Martinez, Maya Rausch, David Edwards, Julien Barrientez, and Jadyn Barrientez. A memorial mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at Our Lady Star of Sea Catholic Church in Port Isabel, Texas.
