San Benito/Houston - Esperanza G. Rodriguez, 73, entered the kingdom of heaven on Sunday, November 22, 2015 in Houston, Texas. Born and raised in San Benito, Texas, Esperanza was a devoted catholic and member of St. Theresa Catholic Church. She was in the choir for many years and was a loving, caring person with a passion to help out in any way she could. She was always around to care for her nephews and nieces. She is preceded in death by her parents: Abraham & Esperanza Gomez Rodriguez Sr. and one brother Abraham Rodriguez Jr. Left to cherish her memories are her sibling: Maria Serna, Estella G. Rodriguez, Ramiro Rodriguez, Gracie Rodriguez Bonnette, and Ignacio Rodriguez. Visitation will be held today November 24, 2015 from 12 noon to 9:00 p.m. with a Holy Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito. Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at St. Theresa Catholic Church with burial to follow to Mont Meta Memorial Park in San Benito, Texas.
