Maria Del Carmen Saldaña, 98, entered into the Kingdom of Heaven on Wednesday, October 28, 2015. She was born June 17, 1917. Left to cherish her memory are: Minerva (Willie) Rosales, Ray (Mary Lou) Saldaña, Hilda (Ramiro) Partida, Richard (Linda) Saldaña all of San Benito; Raul (Tina) Saldaña of Weslaco, Norma Saldaña of Brownsville, Yolanda (Paul) Hernandez of Universal City, Robert (Diana) Saldaña of San Antonio; and several cousins, aunts, and uncles. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 29, 2015 from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a holy rosary at 7:00 p.m., at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 30,2015 at St. Benedict Catholic Church in San Benito with burial to follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park. Serving as pallbearers: Willie Rosales Jr., Ray Saldana Jr., Robert Saldana, Raul Saldana Jr., Steve Hutchins, and Adrian Soliz.
