Maria Cruz Villanueva, 52, of Los Fresnos, Texas passed away on Monday, September 28, 2015 at Valley Regional Medical Center in Brownsville, Texas. She was preceded in death by her father, Carmen Quintero Santoy. She is survived by her husband, Maximiliano Villanueva; three daughters: Yudit Villanueva, Eva Liz Villanueva, and Gabriela V. Quintero; two sons: Freddy (Ashley L) Villanueva and Max Villanueva; four grandchildren: Landin Marcus Villanueva, Caroline Elaine Villanueva, Vivienne Ava Villanueva, and Juan Sierra, IV; her mother, Eva Rodriguez vda de Quintero; eleven surviving siblings: Silvestre Quintero, Conrado Quintero, Elias Quintero, Maria De Los Angeles Quintero, Eugenia Quintero, Eloy Quintero, Eduvijes Quintero, Isduro Quintero, Gloria Quintero, Marta Quintero, and Maria De La Luz Quintero. Visitation will be held Wednesday September 30, 2015 from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at with a holy rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m., at Thomae-Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas. Funeral mass will held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday October 1, 2015 at St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Los Fresnos, Texas. Cremation will follow after the funeral services.
