Guadalupe R. Villarreal, 85, of Harlingen, went to be with the Lord Monday, September 14, 2015. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Julian Villarreal Sr and baby daughter. Left to cherish her memories are her children: Hortencia V. Padilla, Julian Villarreal Jr., Ester V. Mayers, Ernesto Villarreal Sr., Alicia V. Rose, and Ramiro Villarreal Sr., numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 16, 2015 from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a rosary at 7:00 p.m., at Thomae Garza Funeral Home in San Benito, Texas. Funeral will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 17, 2015 Queen of the Peace Catholic Church in Harlingen, Texas. Interment will follow at Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery, 2520 South Inspiration Road, Mission, TX 78572.
